Fermoie Limited (“Fermoie”) is always committed to safeguarding personal information and acting in accordance with your privacy rights.

This policy outlines all our activities involving the storing, processing, use and sharing of personal data that identifies you or is associated with you. We collect this information based on the actions you take on the website.

We may collect other data about you depending on the type of service we provided you with in the past, e.g., if you are a customer, we are also likely to hold the following details:

  • Organisation
  • Payment and transaction method (we do not store nor have access to your card details used for payment)

  • Phone number

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Fermoie with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process it when you:

  • Subscribe for a newsletter or place an order for any of our products or samples
  • Voluntarily provide feedback via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies. You have an option to use our website without giving us any of this data by simply changing your browser settings, this may however impede some of the interactive functionalities and your overall experience.
  • Purchase products via our website.

How will we use your data?

We will primarily use your personal data to let you know about products which we deem to be of legitimate interest to you or you have expressed an interest in via newsletter signup, transactions or online interactions, e.g. page views or clicks.

Fermoie stores your data in our database in order to:

  • Administer and process your order
  • Manage your account
  • Email you with special offers on other products and with the content we think you might like

When we process your order, our selected payment processor may send your data to credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

Information we share with third parties

We may share your personal data (but only the necessary personal data) with:

  1. Our external advisors and trusted partners, who need it to carry out their responsibilities. This includes:
  • courier companies who are providing delivery services;
  • payment service providers;
  • external service providers and consultants; and

We will use the information you provided in the job application or enquiry, coming either from Fermoie careers page or other external websites, to consider you for employment. We will keep your information for future consideration unless you tell us otherwise. This data will be handled internally and in confidence.

Marketing

Fermoie would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent and stop Fermoie from contacting you for marketing purposes, you can do so by selecting the unsubscribe option available on each email or alternatively you can contact us at info@fermoie.com

If consent is withdrawn, we may still use your personal data to fulfil any contract we have with you (Article 6 of the GDPR which covers the necessity of personal data processing for a contract).
